The DEV Carbon Standard establishes that clean energy projects and plants must compensate their own carbon footprint before being able to generate carbon offsets, therefore, the Engineering Auditor must issue a Carbon Neutrality Certificate for the project or plant after overseeing the inset of such footprint.
