The Great Chaco region (El Gran Chaco) is of immense value to South American nature, and plays a role in global climate stability. Protecting this region has been extremely complicated, with large swaths forests and steppes being turned into plantations and livestock farms. This property offers the opportunity to set a precedent in the region, by studying and restoring the soil, while protecting and regenerating forest areas. This project originates two types of offsets: offsets from ecosystem protection and restoration, and offsets from soil restoration and the enhancement of soil carbon capture.
